Bio
I am an artist based in Naarm/Melbourne who specialises in creating intricate graphite drawings that transport the viewer to otherworldly landscapes. My passion for capturing the sublime wonder of ecological phenomena has led me to travel widely, and I have been fortunate enough to undertake artist residencies in places such as Hämeenkyrö, Finland, The Takayna/Tarkine Wilderness in Tasmania, and Reykjavik, Iceland.

My artwork aims to explore the connection between internal and external landscapes, delving into both conscious and unconscious realms. Through my pieces, I express a deep yearning for a connection with nature, while also mourning the ongoing loss of unique ecosystems. In 2016, I became an Art Therapist, which has enriched my understanding of how art can be utilised to express inner experiences.

Since graduating from Monash University in 2009, I have had the privilege of exhibiting my work widely both in Australia and overseas. My art practice has been recognized through various grants and prizes, including the Australia Council ArtStart Grant, the Sustaining Creative Workers Grant from Creative Victoria, and being a finalist in the Paul Guest Drawing Prize in Bendigo in 2018.

In 2022, I was honoured to be invited as an artist in residence at Bigci in Wollemi National Park, and for 2023, I have been chosen as a finalist for the Nillimbik Contemporary Art Prize. Currently, I am undertaking a three-year studio residency at Shakespeare Grove in St Kilda, where I continue to explore the connections between art, nature, and the human experience.
